my weird experiences

The other night i was sleeping on the couch. i was awakened by what sounded like someone walking into the livingroom. i waited, thinking it was my husband or one of my kids. usually if it's my husband he comes over to wake me up, but whoever it was didn't so i assumed it was one of my kids, probably my daughter Dorothy, as she comes into the livingroom sometimes when i'm sleeping on the couch and sleeps on the love seat. well, i didn't hear anything else, so i looked and no one was there. i thought i was probably hearing things, so layed back down to go to sleep. just as i was about to fall asleep i felt someone touch my leg and arm very lightly, like a small child would. i thought it was maybe my son, but for some reason it really scared me. the hair on the back of my neck and on my arms was standing up and my heart was racing. i was so freaked out and frightened, i didn't know what to do, but i couldn't understand why i was so scared. i kept feeling someone touching my arm and leg, almost like a caress. when i finally calmed myself down i opened my eyes. the lamp on the other side of the room was on and shining in my eyes so i couldn't see very well. i closed my eyes and tried to calmed myself, then opened my eyes again and no one was there. i didn't know what to think. it freaked me so badly, and i'm still a bit freaked about it. i don't know what to think about what happened. i kept thinking maybe i had dreamed it or imagined it. i don't know what to think.


not sure what else to refer to him/her/it as, but my friend, has been rather active since my middle of the night touch. the next night after that i was awakened once again by someone walking in the room. i looked around and no one was there so i assumed it was the same whoever or whatever that had touched me the night before. the next night i was awakened by what i thought was one of my kids talking. they were all asleep so either it was my "friend" or one of them was talking in their sleep. also yesterday evening i was at the computer and i heard what sounded like someone breathing over my right shoulder, and no one was there. last night i was awakened by what felt like someone lightly hitting the foot of the bed. it didn't wake up my husband, but then hardly anything ever does. i sat up and saw that no one was there and i said "stop it please" or something like that, cant' remember exactly because i was tired, and it stopped so i went back to sleep. i am wondering if i will notice anything more, and if i do what it will be. as i sit here a small red plastic gem next to me on the computer desk moved about an inch and no one moved it. i guess he/she/it is saying hi.


the next evening i was in the bedroom folding laundry and i heard a small whispered "hi". it didn't scare me but surprised me a bit. i said hi back. maybe i'm just cracking up. in the past, about 5 or 6 years ago, i have thought i saw shadows, like the shadow people some people describe. i thought once i saw someone run by a doorway into the bedroom, but when i went into the bedroom no one was in it.

I agree with Dan...you seem to be a mother figure to this spirit. Be interesting to know background on the house....

Nice story! To me it sound like a friendly spirit! You must be like a mother figure to it and it wants you to know it!
