The Jefferson Hotel is over 150 years old and is thought to be home of several ghosts. These fun loving spirits are thought to be behind water faucets coming on, doors slamming,and playing with light switches. There were several frontier towns in east Texas which appeared to be on the verge of becoming the next great western city in the mid 1800's. One of these towns was Jefferson.
