This is called a residual spirit.
Most of what is experienced (seen, heard and felt) is 'residual'.. dont think of something as 'human' simply because it has that shape or speaks with something resembling a human voice. There are many parts to us...

I will reply to this myself. I saw quite a few apparitions as a child, some in color, some in black and white.
At times i see them now, just not in my home...lucky me.
