Dan....have you ever heard the story of the woman in Vernon, TX who kept her husband in formalyhde (spelling)? We used to pass the home in the 60's when we would go to NM or Childress, TX to visit my husbands relatives. He'd heard this yarn for years from relatives and I also heard the stories about this. Don't know if it's true or not.....
